Why am I so exhausted?

Are you always on the go? Do you wonder why you are always feeling exhausted? In the past few years I believe I have figured out the secret for ME to be super productive and not feel completely wiped out by the end of the day.

Coaching

Before I did a coaching with one of Brendon Burchard’s amazing trainers, I worked a lot and would just feel exhausted by the end of the day. I learned a lot about how to be more in charge of my time during this coaching, and I found a way to be productive and get things done, and still feel great at the end of the day. But in the event you aren’t where you can spend the money right now, I thought I would share a tiny piece about what I learned and maybe it will help even one person.

It truly has to be!

First things first!

As I get up in the morning, I first get out of my pj’s and in to either my work out clothes or get ready for my day ahead. Then I spend some time in either a quiet meditation, journaling, reading, or listening to one of my favorite podcasts. After that, I get moving! Whether it’s stretching, walking, the gym, or a more intense workout, the important thing here is to get my body moving. After I have done these things for ME, then I’m able to step in to my day! I can then get on to social media, or begin with the appointments I have planned out on my calendar! My head is in the right space if I have completed all of these things. I’m MUCH more productive and get much more done as the day progresses.

It becomes a habit!

After doing this for several weeks, it became my habit each morning (Monday through Friday). If I miss one of these steps, I feel off kilter now. It’s just a part of who I am now. And the great thing is, if I wake up a bit late or have an early morning appointment, I can adjust and do a shorter version, but the important thing is that I still DO it. I have found that when I do this, my headspace is so much different. And what does that mean for me? It means I am more organized in my day. I’m thinking more clearly. I put EVERYTHING in my planner for the day to keep me on task so that I still accomplish all that I need to, and yet feel great at the end of the day!

Just a few simple steps!

It’s really pretty simple, right? Just add a few steps to your morning and see how much things can improve! What things would you add to your morning routing? OH, and remember, Social Media is NOT what we want to do first thing. Avoid going down that rabbit hole for later…after you have set yourself in a good spot.
